It’s the day! It’s the day! The brand new 55DSL TemporART store opens today in Hong Kong with a bunch of incredible surprises!

Always championing renegade style, fresh design and independent music, 55DSL’s creative director Andrea Rosso has recruited Italian artist Turbokrapfen and Italian DJ-duo The Bloody Beetroots to christen the opening of a unique space, renovated and reinvigorated as a “temporary” retail/art destination.

The young up-and-coming artist Turbokrapfen, best known for his explosive, colorful, hand-crafted illustrative artwork as well as his close collaborative work with LA’s based Dim Mak, flied into town from 55DSL’s hometown Bassano del Grappa to specially redecorate the store in his graphic typographic style, while the masked duo will celebrate the opening with a very special gig at the Volar tonight!

The 55DSL TemporART STORE will be open for 2 months only, until end-September 2009 and will be located at Shop 3A, 2-4 Kingston Street, in Hong Kong’s bustling youth-shopping hub of Causeway Bay, showcasing the latest 55DSL Autumn/Winter 2009 men’s and women’s fashion and accessories collections.

And the collaboration between 55DSL, the italian stallion/designer and the electro masked duo will become tangible also through a couple of to-die-for Turbokrapfen x The Bloody Beetroots x 55DSL limited editions: an Hong Kong-only released t-shirt and the first 1055 nylon windbreaker, in stores worldwide in August and exclusively available in Hong Kong from today!

Few hours to go! Tomorrow the second 55DSL TemporART, rocked and rolled by Turbokrapfen, will open at the Shop 3A, 2-4 Kingston Street in Hong Kong, with a very special celebration posse at the Volar with none other then 55DSL favourite DJ’s The Bloody Beetroots!

A few days ago, Amy and Susan from Diesel:U:Music Radio were out at the Glastonbury Festival having rest just for a bunch of hours in the 55DSL x Dim Mak x Ferrino tent!

For the few who don’t know, Amy and Susan are DJs for Diesel:U:Music Radio and London club night Sink The Pink, and they present a weekly show on XStream East Radio.  Listen live Tuesday nights 8-10pm for new music, interviews with artists and adventures out and about in London town or listen again anytime at xstreameast.co.uk.

For the first time, BPM Magazine and Vapors Magazine are joining forces to celebrate their anniversary together for one massive blowout, including sets from Ed Banger’s DJ Medhi, Stone Throw’s Peanut Butter Wolf VJ Set, Dim Mak’s Pase Rocks as well as the mysterious Zuper Blahq and LA’s own Skeet Skeet.

The party goes down next week, Wednesday July 22^nd (9pm-2am) at the newest and hottest venue in LA, Playhouse (6506 Hollywood Blvd). RSVP right away here!

Following the huge success of the Milan’s one, with installations by Madrid’s crew T.O.D.O.S., 55DSL is opening a brand new TemporART Store in Hong Kong and for this has asked to italian stallion Turbokrapfen to rock it!

55DSL’s favourite DJ’s will celebrate the opening at the Volar the same night, and will spread the 55DSL word throughout Asia wearing the latest 55DSL limited collab, the Turbokrapfen x The Bloody Beetroots x 55DSL 10.55 jacket, in store from this Fall and soon available at the TemporART!
