Last Friday Hong Kong has hosted Cut&Paste and 55DSL has definitely made its presence felt!

Another finalist for the 2D competition will join his opponents for the Global Championship on the 20th June, for the unique chance to deisgn the next 55DSL x Yoox.com Capsule Collection (all the details here!) while the Asian friends have been the first to see the ugly face of the first 55DSL’s art toy, the Vasava x 55DSL x Atom Plastic Señor Blanco.

More than 250 aspiring toy customizers have had the chance to dress him up to receive this very special 55DSL limited edition out of only 1055 pieces worldwide and hopefully a One Grand Prize Winner: an unique custom 55 cm one.

From Friday, June 5th until Monday, June 15th, we will be showcasing 55 of the most creative and kickass designs at the 55DSL store in Causeway Bay.  During this time, the top 5 designs will be chosen through voting only at the 55DSL store. Another kickass collab created by 55DSL’s Creative Director Andrea Rosso and his team in honor of the 2009 Cut&Paste digital design competition through a capsule collection designed to celebrate the brand’s commitment and admiration for the creative process!

Inspired from music and television, this collection is available exclusively on yoox.com and consists of a unisex K-way jacket and two t-shirts in three color ways, as well as a men’s sweatshirt in two color ways. As always, it will encompass 55DSL’s artistic spirit and trademark graphics.

But the story doesn’t end there. Another collaborative collection will be realized by the winner of Cut&Paste’s 2D Digital Design Tournament, sponsored by 55DSL. The designer will win the chance to design the next 55DSL x Yoox capsule collection for Fall Winter 2009!
