On the occasion of the 2009 Fall Winter Fashion Show, 55DSL has electrorocked its hometown, Bassano, with Congorock and Fucked from Above 1985 joining 55DSL family’s Les Enfant Terribles for a night of real mayhem! And coming as a special top secret cameo, non other than Mon Colonel from Partyharders who obliged le Roi’s owner to call the police and kick all out!

Winter has definitely arrived and it’s freezing out there… And you know, today winter clothes are not so warm as they used to be! So for a very hot dance night 55DSL invited all to wear all those kickass ski outfits from the 70s, 80s and 90s they surely keep in their wardrobe.

This Thursday, 11th December, from 6 to 9pm, come join us at the 55DS Temporary Concept Store at the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa (Level 3, Crate & Barrel Wing) as we celebrate the latest art Installation by Mathew Goldman aka MFG, one of the most gifted flyer designers and forward thinking promoters worldwide!

For the few that don’t know him, MFG has worked with notable talents such as Parra, Diplo, Low Budget, Z-Trip, Adam 12, James Pants, MSTRKRFT, Santo Gold, Desert Eagles, Them Jeans, and many of the top DJ talents and performance artists. He has also done many for functions all over Southern California, as well as stuff for South by Southwest events. At the 55DSL Temporary Concpet Store in the Orange County he will execute his art in chalk and a retrospective of screen prints from his stint as part of the OBEY studio will be sold at the opening!

Dancing! Art! Vodka! Music by DJ Pubes$ & From ELSEwhere and a spectacular performance by Urthworm (Free The Robots)!

And that’s not all folks! On this occasion 2 incredible afterparties will be held by 55DSL simoultaneously, a LA one at the Dance Right and a OC one at The Crosby, both starting from 10PM!

This Wednesday December 3 at The Roxy in LA, from 9pm to 2am, no other than MSTRKRFT will be the peak of the exclusive lineup of the 2009 BPM x Vapors Holiday Party presented by 55DSL: DJs Klever, Treasure Fingers and Gina Turner.  

As if that wasn’t enough reason to get there early, there’s an open bar courtesy of Mickey’s Beer from 9pm-10pm!
