On Thursday the 2nd October, the 6th November and the 4th December, 55DSL and Vice preséntant the last but not least 3 sessions of Le Rade: putting back the old in old- school is the new rave!

We know and you know: cool bars are so passe’! This year 55DSL is teaming up with the infamous Vice France crew for the total Paris take over of the Ville Lumiere’s worst bars - in true old school style!

We are asking you; when was the last time you sat on your grandpa’s lap?

Forget about good clean fun, and come over at Le Week End, in place Franz Liszt, for a session of dirty beats and dirty moves!

Travis Barker and DJ AM have been critically injured in a South Carolina plane crash that left four others dead. 

The two beloved stars are in hospital in critical condition, with serious burns: Barker has burns on his torso and lower body, and AM has burns on a portion of his head and arm, but neither sustained any other injuries from the crash.

Both are currently in “critical but stable” condition and are expected to make a full recovery.

Last month 55DSL, kindly supported by Wax Poetics Magazine and Wine Cellar Sorbets and in collaboration with Sound of Art, blew definitely your mind with “Seen on Audio”, a special exhibition of wonderful pieces of art crafted from recycled and found objects from the streets of NYC, with a special guest appearance from the one and only DJ Pete Rock!

All the power of that astonishing evening is now in the special photoshoot by none other than Ale Zuek Simonetti, in the 55DSL.com Galleries section.

After a whole load of flights, a bit of trouble at LAX (they threatened to escort me out the airport… oops) and a quick pit stop in the motherland I arrived in Amsterdam feeling a little bit spacey!

It was a bit of a 55DSL family reunion with Andrea, Rini, Bronques, Zingri, Elena and Laura travelling out to come dance with me… and see the last party of my JLB Tour go up in smoke.
