The title of the exhibition, “Gakyoucyuunen”,comes from the Ukiyoea artist Katsushika Hokusai’s code “Gakyouroujin”. ESOW’s work base is located in downtown Tokyo. From his street culture backbone, his style is a mixture of Japanese sensitivity with overseas originated street culture and graffiti.
