Next stop Kobe… we took a crazy fast train a few hours and 268 miles out of Tokyo. Everything is so clean and efficient here! I snore peacefully (ha ha well thats what I would like to think)… all the way there.
We ditch the luggage before Bronques, Rumiko and I jump a cab to Osaka, Tokyo’s cool rival city to hook up with my beloved Bloody Beetroots. Ahhhh vecio

Have you ever eaten a Japanese Pizza?? It is an interesting experience… arriving to our hot plate in the centre of the table with a raw egg and a kind of gravy neatly balancing on top, it looks like a rum old deal but is actually quite tasty…
By the 13th one though it was all getting a little eggcessive so we uncrossed our legs and shipped out to Le Baron, a Parisian bar that has found its little way to the heart of Tokyo. Verbal, aka Ryu Yong Gi (half of m-flo, one of Japan’s biggest hip-hop acts) was celebrating his birthday there…
I gatecrashed the festivities, was amazed by his human sized bouquet of flowers and got me groove on till the early hours!

We visited both the 55DSL stores in Tokyo in Shibuya … took some snaps and then scoured the streets hunting for inspiration.
It is quite amazing just how safe you feel over here. I saw a cool, young Japanese guy casually strolling down the street with his Louis Vuitton wallet fashionably poking from his back jean pocket. AMAZING!! That would have been whipped from existence before you could say “Sushi” back on the streets of London town.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE how “out there” the Japanese are with their fashion style. WOW
I would fit in here a treat with all my vintage ballgowns and weird frocks. Its all about the FUN of fashion in Tokyo (check out my photos and you will get what I mean its BRILLIANT).
I randomly meet part of Fireball, a Japanese dancehall DJ collective, on the street near the 55DSL store but before we can chat for long, Charla beckons me on, and the heavens rain down on us.

So what the JLB has been going on??
I left LA all in a rush, with WAY too much luggage. Stopped by my Beverly Hills Dentist Lilia to get fixed up before flying over the VERY big blue pond to T O K Y Ooooooo
A sweet girl at the airport took pity on me, and let me off with my 80kg suitcase oops. TRUST ME… TRAVEL LIGHT…
I bumped into Bronques at the airport who was as excited as a granny down the BINGO hall, he marvelled at the vast landscape outside the bus window while I stared into space like a proper cadet. Where am I??
I hooked up with the 55DSL family for sushi and let Bronques head off to the Diesel Staff Party solo. Time for the JLB to get an early night for a change…

Last Friday, 55DSL joined togheter his family for the definite Junior Lucky Bastard party!
With Charlene coming from London, Bronques from NYC, the Bloody Beetroots togheter with Ed Banger’s Vicarious Bliss (a very special vocalist for the occasion!) from Paris and Andrea’s crew from Bassano, 55DSL overturned the Amsterdam’s Flexbar for a very long night!
Bronques’ lens captured the hottest chicks as always, don’t miss the rock on lastnightsparty.com!

So the time finally came to bid my farewells… Miguel threw me a bloody good leaving bash down the Barracuda Store on Melrose, where I rapped and danced and bounced about with my plastic gun “POP POP”
You may have already seen some snaps, but here’s a few of mine to fill in the gaps (that the beers stole away!)

This weekend Charlene Davies will land in Amsterdam directly from Japan and when Junior Lucky Bastards hit a city 55DSL can’t sit around waiting for life to happen to them!
That’s why, next to all the dirt she can do in the ciry, 55DSL hooked up with its friends from Amstereo Galaxy to throw a sleazy party @ Flexbar in Pazzanistraat 1, for a terrific night where Beesmunt Soundsystem, Jack de La, Lil’ Vic and more special guests will meet the The Bloody Beetroots!
And as always, Charlene will be accompanied by superstar photographer Bronques who will put his voyeuristic lens at the world’s disposal through its Lastnightsparty.com!
So if the the best party in town is your place you may find yourself in Amsterdam, so you don’t miss out on all the dirt!

Last Sunday 55DSL threw a bye bye bash for Charlene at the Barracuda Store, before she continued her Junior Lucky Bastard world wide tour.
You know, Angelenos have a great heart and music, tacos, beers and sun hardly faded sadness away from their faces…

You already know, we will be saying goodbye to 55DSL’s Junior Lucky Bastard, Charlene Davies, leaving LA to continue her worldwide tour in Japan, with a sunny Sunday afternoon at the Barracuda Store with free drinks by Colt45, free tacos, polaroids by Ronys Photobooth, music by DJ Dan-O, Ping Pong, 55DSL giveaways and much more!
But now the piece of news is that if you’re as lucky bastard as Miss Chelsea Cakes above here, who won at the BPM 12th Anniversary Party, or as Matthew H, who won at the 10.55 Release Party @ the 55DSL NYC Flagship Store, you could also be the winner of a Lasonic iPod Boombox!
