From the 4th to the 9th November at the EICMA tradeshow in Milan, Pav. 6, Booth L24, 55DSL is pleased to launch a brand new motocross clothing line created in collaboration with 30-year heritage in the off-road field’s AXO, for a winning combination and guaranteed success!
The line will comprise helmets, goggles, sweaters, pants and gloves, and will be available in limited quantities in the best motorbike dealerships worldwide as of January 2009. A large-scale advertising campaign will accompany the collection, which will also be on display at 55DSL flagship stores across the globe…

It’s not even the holidays yet and 55DSL is spreading love and cheer on the West Coast pening a pop up shop located at South Coast Plaza, on November 3rd!
The concept store opens seven days a week, will give OC shoppers a chance to get their hands on the 55DSL’s Low Noise High Quality FW08 collection and other tasty limited edition pieces… but only till the end of January!
You’ll have to wait til the doors open at Level 3, Crate & Barrel Wing, to see the store, visitors will be pleasantly surprised! And if you like to party, the opening launch event on Thursday Nov 6th promises to be a fun filled three hour jump off, with DJ sets from the following killer acts: Lykke Li (if you haven’t heard of her then you must be over 50, please don’t come to the party, unless you’re Madonna or Prince), Bjorn (Peter, Bjorn & John), shit hot DJ and producer Dan Sena (Dim Mak) and also spectacular art from Greg “Pnut” Galinsky (google him and you’ll probably realize that you and your homies have been wearing his art on your feet for a while…).

The graphic story of 55DSL’s Fall Winter ‘08 Collection is inspired by hi-fidelity stereo equipment and twisted references to the late 80’s: quirky audio cassette graphics, as well as old LP covers, are corrupted with our usual irreverence. Besides the main theme, we still haven’t freed ourselves from our habitual obsession with dynamic and abstract geometric graphics- sometimes softened up by mimicking a hand drawn style…

Starting from the Fall Winter ‘08 collection, part of the 55DSL T-shirt offer is dedicated to 10.55, a new limited edition project in collaboration with different international artists.
Every season 55DSL selects artists from different Countries and gives them total freedom to design their exclusive graphic to be printed on a T-shirt. Each T-shirt is produced in a limited number of 1055 pieces worldwide and only available at authorized 55DSL dealers.
The selected artists for Fall Winter ‘08 are: Brosmind (Spain), Andrew Rementer (USA), Luke Insect (UK), Arthur King (France) and Komatsu 1000 (UK).

A new collab project was born thanks to the friendship between Jovanotti and 55DSL’s Creative Director Andrea Rosso.
Lorenzo will endorse 55DSL clothes and accessories from a kickass summer range throughout all the Safari tour, and the 55DSL’s creative team, inspired by his book “Safari Jam”, designed and produced a limited edition t-shirt which will be sold during the tour; all profits going to Rezophonic.
This special collab was launched in the Milan tour date on may the 29th followed by a big party at the Diesel Penthouse, shooted for 55DSL by the infamous crew of Diedlastnight.
