This month, 55DSL has invited all the Londoners hanging out in the hot Portobello in August to celebrate 10 years of prolific output of one of the most requested artists of the moment, Mitchy Bwoy, offering a unique opportunity to see Mitch’s new work sans client.
From Dub to Roots, Balkan Beats to Broken Beats, Desi to Disco, whatever you’re into Mitch is likely to have made his mark on your record collection at some point!
Best known for his artwork adorning music, club culture & clothing, Mitch has recently reached a more intimate level exploring themes surrounding contemporary culture, idioms & idiocy while maintaining his characteristic illustration & typographic style, combining tight design techniques with the fluidity of paint, bleach & ink.
The exhibition has been held at the Craze Gallery, 253 Portobello Road, from the 7th until 21st August and Mitchy Bwoy has been in residence every single day! If you’ve unfortunately missed the show, have a look at the gallery here below!

Just to let you know that I’ve added a post about the exhibition to Notting Hill Diary (links directly to the post).
I’ll add a review too when I’ve had a chance to go along there myself.
