José Domingo Betancur Gómez is a graphic designer from Medellín, Colombia. Music has always been his inspiration, believing that each moment in life has its own soundtrack, the cover art for which he designs. Illustration and typography are his passions. What is your favourite place toeat and must-try dish?
You should go to La Bistronomía in the Poblado and try the solomito béarnaise, which are tenderloin steaks with béarnaise sauce. Buen provecho!
Where is your place of endless inspiration?
The Cesar Zapata’s Olympic pool.
Where is your secret place inthe city?
For me, one of the best hidden treasures in the city is the Prado neighbourhood, located in downtown Medellín. It has eclectic architecture that is difficult to find in some cities, from Egyptian edifices to French chateau houses.
Where’s the best place to take someone out on a first date?
The Jardín Botánico de Medellín. It’s a huge park in the north of the city, perfect for picnics and to chill with your date.
Why should I move there?
The weather is amazing and the people are always smiling. I think you should move here because it’s an eternal spring Saturday.
